“My name is Amelia, I am 13 years old, and I live at home with Mum, Dad & younger sister. I require 2:1 support to assist with my complex needs and planned activities, allowing me the opportunity to access the community safely and develop my independence away from my family.

I am non-verbal but can communicate with gestures. I love watching TV, signing, and dancing. I attend a special school during the day and need support on a Tuesday, Thursday & Saturday.

I can on occasions display verbal and physical behaviours when my emotions are heightened. I like routine, encouragement, and consistency. I can walk with support and like my independence.
