Our recruitment process
Our recruitment process is focussed on finding people with the right skillset, attitude and positive outlook as regards supporting people in a positive way.Ā Ā
All our staff members must have a minimum of 12 monthsā recent and relevant experience in the UK.Ā Ā
Formal experience is not required, what we are looking for is people with a ācan doā attitude, who want to make a difference to peopleās lives, who love seeing others shine!Ā Ā
We hold regular information sharing sessions where we discuss who we are and what we are looking for. Then we can proceed with your application if you believe you have the qualities we require to support our wonderful people.Ā
Registration process
You will complete a face to face applicant assessment. You will also need to complete our recruitment documentation which we need to meet our recruitment standard and legal obligations.Ā Ā
Everyone will require an enhanced DBS, and there will be documents required to identify you and confirm your eligibility to work in the UK.Ā Ā
You will be required to undertake training if you havenāt done so in the last 12 months, and finally, you will receive an induction when you are ready and cleared to work.Ā
References and completing your application
Collecting references is the most time-consuming element in the application process and you will be asked at your interview to verify that the references you provide are correct. One referee should be the Manager at your current/most recent employment and you should provide full contact details, including professional email addresses.Ā Ā
We will require references covering the last five years of employment, or character references (not from friends or family members).Ā
We ask you to read and complete all application documents fully to ensure we can process your application. Incomplete applications will be returned to you for completion.Ā
Ready for work
When all this is complete, you will be ready for work, though this is only the beginning!Ā Ā
