Autism Support Worker – Offerton

We are looking for experienced Support Workers to assist a 16-year-old girl living in Offerton/Stockport who has Autism and exhibits challenging behaviors.

“I prefer consistency, so I would like the same staff on the same days, as I find changes difficult. I enjoy activities like trampoline jumping, swimming, baking, singing, dancing, and being pampered with nail painting and foot massages.”

“A driver is needed to take me out for support sessions and activities. I prefer individuals who understand autism well and can be playful, singing lots of nursery rhymes, as well as my favourite songs by Taylor Swift and upbeat rock music.”

Shift pattern:

Wednesdays 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM
Saturdays 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Essential requirements:

Driver with a full UK license
Outgoing personality and willing to sing
Excellent communication skills
Enjoys baking and swimming
Friendly and cheerful demeanor
Must have experience in managing challenging behaviors.
