As a Children’s Support Worker, you will be required to deliver an exceptional standard of support that ensures the individuals we assist lead a more comfortable, dignified, liberated, and joyful life. You will possess outstanding communication abilities and exhibit a naturally caring and patient demeanour.
Due to expansion of services, Key Care & Support have employment opportunities available in and around Trafford. These roles provide regular and ongoing hours.
Typical responsibilities may include:
- Assisting children within the family home.
- Demonstrating excellent communication skills and fostering relationships – aiding the individuals we support in comprehending their surroundings and encouraging positive interactions.
- Facilitating community and social inclusion – enabling children to engage with and participate in local community activities and social events to enhance life skills and individuality.
- Providing personal care – assisting individuals in preparing for the day. This may involve reminding those we support to take their medication and helping with bathing, showering, and using the restroom. It is important to note that not all Support Worker positions entail significant levels of personal care.
People with no formal experience but do have informal experience and a passion to support vulnerable people considered as training can be given.
We partner with individuals with learning disabilities and/or autism. We do this by providing high-quality, flexible services that support individuals, including young adults and children, to live as independently as possible in their own homes and in the community.
We are seeking people who are naturally compassionate and have a patient demeanour that ensures those you assist feel empowered, joyful, and are treated with fairness, respect, and dignity. Responsibilities may involve aiding individuals with bathroom use, medication management, and bathing assistance, though not every Support Worker position requires personal care tasks. Strong organisational abilities to maintain precise records, performing all documentation and reporting in a person-centred, factual way. You will also aid individuals in living independently by assisting with budget management, bill payments, and appointment scheduling.

What does Key Care & Support offer?
- Our salary starts at £26,208.00 – *£35,000.00 (*Team Leaders) each year
- We offer higher rates for bank holidays (ÂŁ18.90 per hour)
